This Privacy Policy explains how WC Folio, a WhiteCoder product, handles information when you create an account, build a link-in-bio page or portfolio, upload a CV, receive messages, use analytics or contact support.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, we may process:
- Account information such as name, username, email and password hash.
- Professional information such as skills, experience, education, services and project details.
- Uploaded media such as profile photos, cover images, project images and payment receipts.
- Technical data such as device type, browser, approximate traffic source, timestamps and security-related identifiers.
- Messages, support requests and payment-related records.
3. AI-Assisted CV Processing
When you choose AI-assisted CV import, submitted CV text may be sent to configured AI service providers to structure your profile. WC Folio uses this data to provide the requested feature. We do not intentionally use private CV content to train public models. If an AI service is unavailable, the platform may use a local fallback or ask you to enter information manually.
4. Data Storage & Security
Account data is stored in the platform database, while uploaded media may be stored on the hosting server or configured media service. WC Folio uses access controls, password hashing, secure sessions, upload validation and other safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also protect their login credentials.
6. Your Choices & Rights
You can update most profile information from the dashboard, change publishing visibility, export supported data, request assistance and ask for account deletion. Some billing, security and audit records may be retained where reasonably required for legal, fraud-prevention or operational purposes.
